Institute of Classical Architecture and Art class: Observational Drawing Skills for Architects & Designers
Today is the final class of a three day course taught by John Woodrow Kelley at the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA). I was given the incredible opportunity to be the TA for the course, which I'm so honored by. The course covered a full analysis of the way light and shadow describe form. Mr. Kelley is a brilliant artist and is an absolutely amazing instructor. It's a rare combination to be gifted with artistic ability and the skill to explain it to a student. I learned a tremendous amount by observing him.
I took a bunch of photos from last night's class to share and I wanted to thank the ICAA, John Kelley and all the students for allowing me to help out with this course.
