Our daffodil plein air workshop on April 11th at Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit, NJ has SOLD OUT! Thank you to everyone who signed up and I can't wait to share a day of plein air painting while teaching watercolor techniques.
*This workshop is open to all media so please bring acrylics, pencils, pens, markers or anything you'd like! Once Eric En Plein Air airs, you'll be able to watch anytime, online by visiting our PBS media manager page!
-- HTTPS://WWW.PBS.ORG/SHOW/ERIC-EN-PLEIN-AIR Today was a magical day as I traveled out to Easton, PA to visit Vasari Classic Artists' Oil Color. I met with their amazing team to test out colors for my own set of oil paints. The set will include 11 colors and is very versatile; my upcoming TV series, Eric En Plein Air is all about plein air work, but you could also use this set to paint portraits, florals, still lifes, or anything! As a teacher, we also discussed offering ongoing classes and workshops at their Easton, PA location and their Brooklyn, NY location. Both locations have large, naturally lit studio space and their PA location also has an area to paint en plein air. I am very excited and I will share more updates soon! *Following Day addendum I was up early to see how the colors look in the morning sun. I still need to do more mixing and painting before I make the selection of 11 colors for my set. If this is a dream, please don't wake me up!
