I'm honored to have my work on display at the James Rose Center in my hometown of Ridgewood, NJ. I hope to see you this Sunday for our opening reception, but my work (10 oils and watercolors) will be on display for an extended period of time.
I always encourage others to view art in person because it's a completely different experience than seeing it on a screen (especially a small Iphone screen). Even the best photography can't capture the texture and color of a painting. It's similar to live music Vs. a recording - live events have a certain depth that cannot be captured. The opening reception is a free event, but please register on the site so that we can plan accordingly: https://www.jamesrosecenter.org/events/an-afternoon-with-eric-santoli-opening-reception

JUNE 4TH - 11TH, 2027 | WATERCOLOR PAINTING WORKSHOP IN SPAIN With Eric Santoli | FRENCH ESCAPADE6/8/2026
I'm so happy to announce that our Season 1 premiere of Eric En Plein Air is now available to watch on the PBS app and website! (Air times on local PBS stations are also being scheduled).
Our premiere episode is all about Lyndhurst in Tarrytown, NY. I hope you all enjoy the program and I want to thank everyone who supported this project. We couldn't have done it without you. https://www.pbs.org/video/lyndhurst-tarrytown-ny-frlmv7/ Filming for Season 2 of Eric En Plein Air continued today as we visited Boscobel House and Gardens in Garrison, NY. I used watercolor to demonstrate a painting of their amazing view of the Hudson Valley. The weather was perfect today which made it even more magical!
Stay tuned for more Season 2 updates as filming continues next week. And remember that Season 1 premieres tomorrow nationwide and on the PBS app! You can watch our premiere episode tomorrow online here: https://www.pbs.org/show/eric-en-plein-air/ |
