I've been super busy lately with EAS Custom Canvas, but I wanted to write a post about the power of networking and how much I owe to the people who have helped me thus far.
I've been getting such great feedback from artists and I really owe it to everyone for helping me build this. It's not always easy to balance painting and a company, but I'm doing it with lots of support from really amazing artists.
If you're thinking about starting a business by selling a product or your own paintings, then reach out to your peers; it's the only way to build anything of value. I've been lucky to be able to meet artists from conferences and by happenstance, but it's not all about luck. Luck is a factor, but you can reach anyone today via email. I personally don't believe in social media, but you can send someone an email and make it personal, which adds more power to the connection.
Always be polite and never be afraid to ask for help
