I'm very proud to share that my painting, Evening on the Pond (2023) just sold through Cimarron Song Gallery in Colorado. I connected with Cimarron Song Gallery while I was living at Claude Monet's estate in Giverny, France. The owner, Greg Packard is an artist himself and did a great job framing the piece as well. Evening on the Pond is still the largest painting that I have ever painted and I am very proud of it. The scene is an evening on Monet's water lily pond in Giverny and it was an ambitious painting for me. I did a study of the scene first and then painted the large canvas. I had to work from the study because the large canvas wouldn't fit through Monet's garden door! I'm very thankful to my patrons and to everyone who has supported my work. I'll be sharing more original pieces soon! Evening on the Pond (2023) | 81cm X 130cm ~ 31" X 52"

What a journey this has been! I am SO excited to announce that we are officially finished filming Season 1 of Eric En Plein Air! My goal was to create an educational program that combines principle-based art lessons (filmed 100% en plein air) with travel and an appreciation of nature and wildlife. We have put our heart and soul into this program and I feel very proud of what we've created. I need to thank my production team at Studio 94 Video & Cinematography, all of our amazing guests and location contacts and most importantly my always supportive and always energetic, Mom <3. Next step is editing and I will continue to share updates as we move forwards with distribution! Stay tuned for more coming soon! Highlights from Season 1 We had a great day today, filming at the historic and beautiful Lyndhurst in Tarrytown, NY. Check out our latest BLOG POST at ericenpleinair.com to see behind-the-scenes photos and video clips!
HUGE thanks again to the Lyndhurst team for welcoming us and sharing the wonderful history and information. I can't wait to visit again in the future! Today, I went over to Flat Rock Brook in Englewood, NJ and met with their team to scout out filming locations. It's a beautiful area and I can't wait to share it on season 1 of Eric En Plein Air. And with that location confirmed, we have all of our locations for Season 1! I'm feeling really proud of our hard work and I can't wait to share these episodes on American Public Television (APT)!
I've also been networking and just had a great conversation with someone else who has a show on APT; she told me that she's working on a book and generously offered to connect me with her publisher. I told her that I would love to connect with this prominent publisher to do some art books. I have some book ideas because I've always loved writing and I've kept a journal for a long time. I also wrote part of a memoir while I was Artist-in-Residence in Giverny at Claude Monet's estate. It's exciting because I would love to write some art books that share art instruction, nature, travel, history and more. Let's see where this inspiration goes! |
