I'm happy to share that I'll be giving a presentation and teaching a painting class in November at the Ridgewood Community School. These are separate events, but you get a discount if you're interested in attending both events!
I used to teach several courses for the RCS, but I made the decision to step away to focus on more of my own work. For anyone interested in learning with me: I will always continue teaching, but I want to transition to workshops instead of the full length semester. More information on upcoming workshops will be coming soon! Registration for the RCS opens on August 30th and more information is available here: https://rcs.ridgewood.k12.nj.us/brochure__registration
Musée de l'Orangerie On the way to Sennelier today, we visited the Musee D'Orsay and saw some great works. The size and scope of many of these works is really mind-boggling. And I got to see works by an early inspiration: William Bouguereau (1825 - 1905). There were tons of other great works, but my main focus was the monumental Sorolla painting which I have photos of below. I definitely want to go back again at some point because they've got so many beautiful paintings, sculptures, etc. My trip to Sennelier was productive also and I've got my supplies all ready to go!
