On the way to Sennelier today, we visited the Musee D'Orsay and saw some great works. The size and scope of many of these works is really mind-boggling. And I got to see works by an early inspiration: William Bouguereau (1825 - 1905). There were tons of other great works, but my main focus was the monumental Sorolla painting which I have photos of below.
I definitely want to go back again at some point because they've got so many beautiful paintings, sculptures, etc. My trip to Sennelier was productive also and I've got my supplies all ready to go!
