Coming up in May, I'll be teaching a series of en plein air (outdoor) painting workshops in Ridgewood, N.J. for The Stable Art Gallery. The workshops will be split into three age categories, including teens, 16+ and seniors. It will be open to all skill levels.
The Stable and I share a common goal to get people to experience more of the outdoors, nature and the joy of art making. There's really nothing better than painting outside and there are some great spots right near The Stable, including a butterfly garden, the Ho Ho Kus brook and some beautiful trees.
These workshops will soon be advertised in local flyers and I'll write a post with exact dates, times and the cost. I'm looking forward to it and enjoying the springtime weather.
Just finished a late night self portrait and it turned out well. Those nights when I can't sleep, I get a lot of drawing, writing and reading done.
A few months ago, I was interviewed and photographed for an article which is now available online. The experience was great and I've gotten some great feedback about the interview.

Thank you again to Kris Pepper for the excellent interview and to Sarah Flannery for the beautiful photographs.
