I started a new goal a few days ago to not let anything bother me. I'm constantly on the path of self improvement and this has been a life changer for me. Anytime something gets under my skin, I've been reminding myself of this new goal. This applies to everything in my life, from my illustrations to the broken speaker in my car.
I'm not confusing this with 'not caring', which I feel is a negative mindset. But rather, to shift my focus and realize why things bother me. Asking myself if something is important enough to bother me, or if it's a passing thought. This takes the power away from little annoyances and shifts it to larger questions. There are certain worries which drive me to work harder or approach new and scary situations, but the majority of annoyances are really depleting.
The main annoyances nowadays are also tech based, which I've weeded out a lot of. I don't see myself as ever being on social media for this main reason. Simple frustrations really take a toll on my concentration and overall happiness. My goal is set.
